In June 2022, the city together with Prague City Tourism introduced a new city tourist card. It makes visiting Prague much easier, especially for foreign tourists. In addition to free admission to 75 major tourist attractions, the card offers free use of public transport and the Airport Express bus and includes a number of other benefits, including cultural and sporting events and guided tours of Prague. The Prague Visitor Pass is valid for 48, 72 or 120 hours after activation. It can be purchased at tourist information centres and the info centres of the Prague City Transport Company. When purchasing a Prague Visitor Pass on the website, the client receives an electronic voucher by e-mail, which they can print out or save on their phone, or collect as a physical card at one of the outlets upon presentation of the voucher. The client can activate the Prague Visitor Pass at any time. After that, they just need to prove their identity when accessing the experience to receive a ticket. The Prague Visitor Pass serves as an unlimited ticket for public transport and for the Airport Express bus during its validity period. The card comes with a free printed map containing a complete list of experiences to help visitors find their way around the city. An electronic guide is also available on the mobile app. The Prague Visitor Pass includes a wide range of activities outside the consistently congested centre of Prague, reflecting a new sustainable approach to tourism.
